EDUCATION AND TRAINING
We build on our business school roots and develop courses that address clear gaps and stakeholder needs.
We build on our business school roots and develop courses that address clear gaps and stakeholder needs.
As part of a project funded by the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility, we have developed a set of courses that offer holistic FinTech business development education.
The FinTech Business Education course content is based on stakeholder feedback and gap analysis. We integrate regulatory and business mindsets, addressing the need for a balanced perspective, crucial for long-term business success.
The new courses have been piloted in Spring 2024, and since Autumn 2024 already 72 students of the Riga Business School have completed one or several of these courses.

Starting from 2024/2025 academic year, our courses are available for integration into existing programs across higher education institutions in Latvia.
We have already trained 29 faculty members for 11 universities to teach these courses, including organising a workshop for them by Harvard Business Publishing Education on the case study method. Currently we are in the process of signing agreements with the universities for handing over the course materials and all the necessary support for the courses to take place.

Alongside courses, we will be launching a series of events that bring together students, faculty and researchers with FinTech ecosystem experts to build a broader learning community.
Through this initiative, we hope to build a FinTech business education community across the FinTech ecosystem in Latvia.
If you are interested in meeting Fintech professionals and learn about their journey in FinTech business, join our “FinTech Close-Up” events. Check our website for the upcoming events here.
