It will bring together university lecturers and study programme directors, case study authors, and company representatives to share the experience of Riga Business School at RTU and outline the next steps for developing this method in Latvia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"711\">Until now, Latvian higher education has largely relied on international case studies. However, to ensure that study content is more closely connected to the local business environment, it is essential to develop teaching materials based on the real experiences of Latvian companies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"713\" data-end=\"743\">Through this event, we aim to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"1415\">\n<li data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"899\">\n<p data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"899\"><strong>showcase what has been achieved so far<\/strong> \u2013 locally developed case studies created by RBS through a structured process involving trained faculty members;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"900\" data-end=\"1045\">\n<p data-start=\"902\" data-end=\"1045\"><strong>encourage the creation of a local case study base<\/strong>, enabling universities to use Latvian business situations and data more widely in teaching;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1046\" data-end=\"1184\">\n<p data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1184\"><strong>strengthen collaboration between academia and industry<\/strong> by involving companies as partners in the development of educational materials;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1274\">\n<p data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1274\"><strong>inspire new authors and companies<\/strong> to participate in the creation of new case studies;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1415\">\n<p data-start=\"1277\" data-end=\"1415\"><strong>enhance the quality of higher education<\/strong> by making the learning process more practical, relevant, and grounded in real business situations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1771\">During the event, we will present the work completed so far, share insights into the case development process from both academic and company perspectives, discuss the future development of the case study method in Latvian universities, and jointly work through one of the case studies developed by RBS.
